Pre-Surgical Evaluations
We are trained in providing pre-surgical psychological evaluations for the following medical procedures:

Bariatric Surgery – We provide pre-surgical evaluations for patients being considered for bariatric surgery such as a Roux en Y gastric bypass or a lap band procedure. We have performed over 1,200 evaluations.

Spinal Cord Stimulators – We provide pre-surgical psychological evaluations for patients being considered for a spinal cord stimulator trial or implantation for pain or bladder problems. We have performed over 1,000 evaluations.

Intrathecal Pain Pumps – We provide pre-surgical psychological evaluations for patients being considered for an intrathecal pain pump trial or implantation for pain. We have performed over 500 evaluations.

Baclofen Pumps – We provide pre-surgical psychological evaluations for patients being considered for an intrathecal Baclofen pump trial or implantation for spasticity.

Spine Surgery - We provide pre-surgical psychological evaluations for patients being considered for spine surgery.

Plastic Surgery – We provide pre-surgical psychological evaluations for patients being considered for plastic surgery procedures. We address the patient’s expectations for surgery and psychological readiness for surgery.

We currently can get patients in for an evaluation within 2 weeks (depending on insurance approval). The report is sent to the referring provider within one week or sooner.
